At the start of the Bourbon Project, we selected 13 contributing farms out of more than 100 that responded to the call.

Since 2023, the coffee has come exclusively from Gabriel Castano's Finca Granada, which year after year proves to be the most talented and consistent producer of pink bourbons in the region. Many thanks to him.

The exceptional terroir, the variety and the fermentation method, which involves oxidising the cherry for 48 hours before wet-pulping, give this coffee a distinctive and quite addictive profile.

The Bourbon Project is a blend of bourbons from the Huila region of Colombia. This project is run by Terres de Café to establish a high-quality, virtuous and sustainable production of the ancestral Colombian variety: bourbon. We work with a number of small farms, such as EL Robles and La Granada, selecting the best plots and working with them on processes to optimise quality year after year.
