Who's it for?
For those wishing to learn about Turkish coffee, discover a new method or deepen their knowledge of how to make the perfect cup of coffee quickly with each new packet.
This workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to get started or who already owns Ibrik equipment.

History of the method / Review of equipment required
Demonstration / Sensory analysis
Sine qua non parameters for a good cup
Explanation of the parameters to be controlled and how to improve your cup.
Sensory analysis of the main extraction faults. Each cup is tasted, in order to calibrate with the barista trainer and refine sensory perception of cup attributes to be avoided or sought.
Drawing of a decision tree, to decide on the variables in order of importance according to coffee and equipment, so as to be able to extract the best from a packet of coffee at home, every time.
Workshop
Practice: Each learner is given an unfamiliar packet of coffee and all the equipment needed to explore the method, test new tools and practice (sand heaters, gas burners, ibriks of different materials, specific grinders, WDT, different cups, etc.).
The aim is to build a recipe from scratch, right up to the perfect cup.
The trainer corrects the method / tastes / assists progress in the choice of parameters
Maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Review
A few minutes to review the key elements of the session, and discuss the specificities of each person's equipment.
Each learner leaves with summary sheets summarizing the fundamentals of extraction: Recipe / points to watch out for / best practices.
