Forest-grown coffee is the most virtuous coffee-growing system. It traps CO2 and helps combat global warming. Soils are naturally fertilized, and temperatures and humidity regulated. Forest coffees are extraordinarily complex and lively. What's more, their market value protects the forest and its biodiversity. Last but not least, the income generated by the coffee enables communities to stay in their homes by maintaining age-old know-how. A velvety, intense cup with notes of tonka bean, chocolate and lemongrass. A wild, gourmand and fruity finish.
Blending note
100% agroforestry arabica, sourced mainly from the Ethiopian coffee forests of the Wallaga and Jimma regions. The Forest is a coffee that finances projects with our partner forest coffee producers in Ethiopia. 1 per kilo sold is deducted and paid back in full to fund the project.

On the nose : notes of chocolate and sweet spices.
On the palate : smooth and delicious, with notes of chocolate, praline and sweet spices. A typical, fruity cup.
This coffee is roasted for espresso.
