The great adventure of specialty coffee continues, and the rediscovered taste of coffee is spreading throughout the world, becoming a lifestyle, a way of consuming better.

The sector is developing, driven by people who care about respecting consumers and are responsible for the sustainability of their ecosystems. In any case, this is our vision of this young sector, and this is the one we support.

Ethiopian forest coffees, permaculture in Colombia, regeneration in Guatemala, global sustainability in Costa Rica, garden polyculture in Rwanda, conservation of terroirs in Panama… there are thousands of producers for whom the terroir and practices are at the origin of taste. They cultivate excellence as an absolute goal and an economic model.

  

  

Among them, some stand out for the very high quality and regularity of their production, and for the exemplary nature of their agricultural practices. This long-term work is rewarded by national and international titles*, which are so difficult to obtain.

They are all pioneers of specialty coffee, and they are already “Legends”.

Pocho Gallardo, Jamison Savage, Alejo Castro, Felipe Sardi, the Dukale brothers, Pepe Jijón, Ratibor Hartmann, Paul Doyle, Jose Luis Montessoro and others are pulling the sector upwards, setting a course, the direction to take for all those who consider coffee as an exceptional product, a special moment, a sensation.

  

  

The “LEGENDES” range is a selection of these exceptional coffees, produced in tiny quantities, and from intact or restored ecosystems.

Guaranteed without exogenous taste-modifying inputs, these rarities are the best expression of the singularity of their terroir.

*Competitions:

Cup Of Excellence: Founded in 1999 by the “Alliance for Coffee Excellence”, this competition rewards the best coffees from each country. The winners are selected from thousands of lots.

SCA Championship:

Organized each year by the national branches of the "Specialty Coffee Association".

The national champions then participate in international events.
