Armando Benavides is one of the pioneers of agroforestry in Colombia, and a role model for many young producers who want to reconnect with their terroir. The organic balance that reigns on his eight-hectare farm is reflected in his coffees, which perfectly balance fruitiness and sweetness, with notes of red fruit and brown sugar, in a dense body.
Finca Himalaya - Bourbon Rouge :
Finca Himalaya is a picture-postcard plantation nestled high on the slopes of a volcano. Its owner, Mauricio Salaverria, a 5th-generation planter, is a virtuoso perfectionist: planting under shade in parcels, drying on mats, custom preparation and mastery of the 4 processing methods: natural, pulped, washed and anaerobic.

On the nose: notes of caramel and yellow fruit.
On the palate: juicy yellow-fruit acidity, roundness and sweetness reminiscent of 70% chocolate with hints of red fruit.
Finca Himalaya - Bourbon Rouge - 85+ :
On the nose: notes of chocolate and candied red fruit.
On the palate: notes of pastry chocolate, stewed red fruit, dried apricot and maple syrup.
