Sourcing notes
The Dukale brothers know the best terroirs in Ethiopia, and the best small producers from which to buy their cherries; Idido is currently at the top of the Yirgacheffe appellation. A product of ancient agroforestry practices, this batch derives its complexity from the fact that it is made up of different parcels. The terroir and mastery of fermentation at Dukale complement the work of the producers to deliver a grand cru that is floral, fruity and spicy, with a perfect harmony of flavours.
Tasting notes
On the nose: notes of jasmine, yellow peach and mango.
On the palate: raspberry, tea, citrus and exotic fruit. The brilliant acidity is delicately set against this silky body, delivering an immense coffee that is both complex and transparent.
