Graphic designer and illustrator Monika Petersen practises an antique and traditional craft as a form of artistic expression. Monika creates modern works of art using the ancient linocut method, a technique that requires patience and endurance.

Responsibly made:

Monika Petersen's work is created with a focus on sustainability. The artist creates all Lino prints by hand and without the use of hazardous chemicals. The Lino blocks are cleaned with vegetable oil instead of toxic cleaners after printing. The oil makes the Lino more durable and ensures optimum use of the materials.
