Sourcing notes

Coffee KSF Goma Forest - 80+ Ethiopia :

Khalid Shifa is now one of our closest partners in Ethiopia. Every year, we initiate special projects together. Here, we're going back in time by isolating trees planted by his father in the 60s.

Marcala coffee - 85+ Blend :

The Marcala region, southwest of La Paz, is renowned for the exceptional quality of its coffees, probably the best in Honduras. Today, most of the plantations are Typica, a variety that has adapted particularly well to the climate and altitude.

Coffee Obata - 85+ Brazil :

Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza, the Croce family's famous Brazilian farm, is a pioneer in the conversion to sustainable coffee production. Their work on Bob O Link coffee, involving 150 local farmers, is often cited as an example in the country of intensive and devastating coffee farming, Brazil. Recognized worldwide for their community project, the batches produced on the farm itself are rare! This Obata Nature is one of them, and we're delighted to offer it to you.

Coffee Old Yeti - 88+ Ethiopia :

Like vines, very old coffee trees produce fewer fruits, but they are higher in sugar and offer a different cup profile: rich, honeyed and deep. These fruits used to be added indiscriminately to the overall harvest. Here, they are isolated to form an exceptional batch.

Tasting notes :

Coffee KSF Goma Forest - 80+ Ethiopia :

An intense, very spicy nose, punctuated by hoppy notes.

On the palate: the cup is just as clean, with notes of cardamom, marzipan and dark chocolate. The body is creamy and persistent, with a light vanilla finish. A beautiful, spicy compromise that oscillates between power and delicacy.

Marcala Coffee - 85+ Blend :

Marcala Ceiba is an organic Honduran coffee with character, but which remains very consensual.

We appreciate the meticulous work of this cooperative, a historic player in organic coffee farming.

Nose: notes of white flowers and peach.

On the palate: smooth body, balance and a dark chocolate finish. A lively, well-balanced coffee.

Café Obata - 85+ Brazil:

The precursor of Brazilian specialty coffee for a fine and smooth cup.

On the nose : fruity notes of clementine and citruscaramel and chocolate.

On the palate :  A thick body, a nice balance on chocolate and plum notes, refreshed by a discrete citric and mentholated notes.

Café Old Yeti - 88+ Ethiopia :

Nose: reminiscent of a milky chocolate bar.

On the palate: pastry notes of chocolate and butter, mixed with almond, bergamot and a hint of red fruit.

The cup is silky and greedy.
