This espresso machine has a digital timer. It appears when the pump is on and disappears when it is off. The digital PID is hidden behind the machine's drip tray. It can also be adjusted to suit different roasting styles. The PID keeps the temperature of the brewing water stable to within a degree. The E61 unit circulates the boiler water through the unit to reinforce temperature stability. As with its other machines, Rocket Espresso has incorporated a dual pre-infusion system in the Mozzafiato Cronometro V, with a mechanical piston system that operates progressively in a static pre-infusion chamber, for fully saturated extractions rich in crema. Inside, the Mozzafiato Cronometro V is similar to the Giotto model, differing only in that it is smaller on the outside.
