Las Flores Chiroso Anaerobic Washed 2024 - Colombia (88+):

This award-winning coffee (Cezve/Ibrik World Champion, Cezve/Ibrik French Champion, 3rd place Coffee in Good Spirit, 4th place Barista) is the result of fermentation experiments conducted by Jhoan Vergara at Las Flores, in an agroforestry setting. The “thermal shock” process, followed by anaerobic fermentation, gives Chiroso a “candy-like,” lactic, and intense flavor.

On the nose: notes of cocoa, sweet spices, and honey, followed by hints of fruit.

On the palate: a very sweet attack with a velvety body, still honey and spices, then an explosion of fruit, raspberry, pear, and apricot. A long, rich, praline finish.

Las Flores Chiroso Anaerobic Washed 2024 - Colombia (88+):

On the nose: notes of strawberry and tropical fruits.

On the palate: The body is silky and syrupy, the sweetness reminiscent of tangy candies with notes of strawberry, kiwi, and mango. The finish is long, fresh, and presents notes of cherry.
