Close to the Honduran border, Finca La Laguna, managed using agroforestry techniques by the now famous Olman Valladarez, was one of the first farms in Nicaragua to adopt the Parainema variety. Altitude, shade, and organic soil fertilization provide the perfect conditions for coffee trees to thrive.
